What is Restylane?

Precautions:
1.It is essential to abstain from the treatment using Restylane in the following cases:
2.It is advisable for the breastfeeding and pregnant women not to undergo the treatment. The doctor’s advice must be sought if one to take the treatment in such state.
3.It should not be used for the treatment of areas other than face as there is no clinical evidence for its safety.
4.You should inform your doctor if you have any disorder related to pigmentation, history of scarring, thick or stiff cars.
5.You should let your doctor know if you have any plans of laser treatments or chemical peel procedures as these can cause inflammation at the site where the injection is applied.
6.If you have an injury at the site where the injection is applied, there is a greater chance of developing infections and other side-effects.

Side effects:

Some of the severe and rare side-effects include:

3.Unintentional injection into a blood vessel leads to permanent and very serious side-effects which include abnormalities in vision, blindness, stroke, temporary scabs or permanent scarring of the skin.
